Title-20 Insulation

Title-20 is an energy efficiency standard created by the California Energy Commission.  There are only a handful of hot tub manufacturers that are currently certified to meet this standard.  Nordic offers an optional insulation upgrade which meets or often exceeds the standard.  I automatically include this optional upgrade in every spa I order, at no additional charge.

Underwater LED lighting: Most spas have an underwater light which uses a small incandescent bulb to light up the spas interior.  LED lighting replaces the incandescent bulb with solid state LEDs (Light Emitting Diodes).  LED lights offer many different colors at the touch of a button and even modes that automatically cycle through different colors.  LED lights do not have a filament to burn out, so they will essentially never need replacing for the life of your spa.  If you spa does not come standard with LED lighting, aftermarket replacements are available.

Accent lighting: The accent lighting option adds multiple underwater LED lenses around the spa.  This fills the spa with bright colored light that you can easily control with the touch of a button.

Stainless steel Jet Trim:  Stainless jets have the same internal parts as a normal jet with the addition of chrome trim.  They greatly add to the overall appearance and give the spa an elegant look.

Ozone:  The main purpose of ozone in a spa is to help oxidize (break down) containments.  Ozone will help kill some bacteria, however it still requires traditional FDA approver sanitizers be used.  Normally chlorine or bromine sanitizers perform two functions to keep the spa water clean.  They kill bacteria and oxidize containments in the water.  Because ozone helps oxidize containments, less chlorine or bromine sanitizer can be used.
